Lydia and Alma are two ambitious  sisters born and raised in North Carolina, USA and now based between Leicester & London.

The two beauties started their YouTube channel ‘Lydia and Alma’ in 2017 after constantly being asked on the street how they grew their signature large and healthy afros. Their channel gained over 10,000 subscribers in the first 3 months and their authentic personalities, affordable tips and comedic chemistry made them stand out as one of the top natural hair bloggers, helping thousands of women and men across the globe including South Africa, Brasil, USA and the UK achieve healthy hair growth.

The duo are on a mission to increase afro hair visibility in professional, commercial and social spaces and inspire today’s generation to wear their hair out confidently and unapologetically. In their own words, “Afro hair is a lifestyle, not a trend.”

Content creation, presenting, art, fashion, music, modelling, veganism and holistic health are at the core of the pair’s interest and influence. They have recently signed with Pink Hippo London PR talent roster and are anticipated to be Afro Haired versions of Mary Kate and Ashley
